This special session will bring together over 700 participants, including key stakeholders from governments and international organizations, business leaders from the World Economic Forum’s corporate partners, as well as global young leaders, experts, and innovators.

Meeting Agenda

The agenda for the special meeting is based on three core themes:

1. Inclusive Growth Compact

From the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence to the renewed prominence of industrial policies—and compounded by insufficient long-term investment in human development—recent trends in innovation and economic policy risk deepening global inequality, potentially reversing the progress made over the past few decades in poverty eradication. To address these pressing challenges, this conference will examine how these transformative trends are reshaping innovation, human capital, and entrepreneurial spirit. The discussions aim to foster constructive dialogue around critical opportunities, such as emerging economic corridors, strategic technology partnerships, and the vital link between growth and job creation.

2. Catalyzing Action for Energy Development

Global temperatures could rise by 2.9°C this century. The energy transition is now more urgent than ever, and it’s crucial to address the vast disparities in global access to energy. As population growth outpaces the pace of new grid deployments, coupled with inflationary pressures that are making off-grid renewable energy systems increasingly unaffordable for many, the number of people without reliable access to energy is declining far too slowly to meet the targets set by the Sustainable Development Goals—especially in developing economies. This conference will bring together cross-sector stakeholders to identify innovative financial, technological, and policy solutions aimed at fostering equitable growth while accelerating the adoption of clean energy technologies worldwide.

3. Revitalizing Global Cooperation

The ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, particularly the Gaza conflict, are having far-reaching implications—not only for the region but for the entire world. To better address the deepening divides within nations and between countries, this conference will focus on fostering North-South dialogue and revitalizing international cooperation. Beyond strengthening humanitarian initiatives across the region to build greater impact and foster consensus on critical issues, the meeting will also identify strategic partnerships and concrete actions aimed at mitigating the escalating ripple effects of geopolitical instability—and ultimately helping to create a more resilient global economy.
