2024 Summer Davos|Highlights Preview

As economic growth recovers and overall inflation slows, rapid innovation and advancements in technology and artificial intelligence continue to drive industries forward. According to the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) latest forecasts, the global economy is on track for a soft landing. However, risks and tensions persist, making it crucial at this critical juncture for all stakeholders to actively engage in order to ensure a transition toward sustainable development. Only through effective collaboration can we unlock new frontiers of future growth.

To address the rapidly evolving global landscape, the World Economic Forum will convene its 15th Annual Meeting of Global Leaders from June 25 to 27, 2024, in Dalian, China. This year’s gathering will bring together over 1,600 high-level leaders from government, business, civil society, and international organizations, alongside visionary entrepreneurs, innovators, and distinguished experts and scholars, all working together to generate insightful perspectives and practical, actionable solutions.

Asia continues to drive two-thirds of global economic growth, bringing industry leaders together to unlock collaboration opportunities and advance innovative approaches that will sustain the region's momentum in fostering and maintaining robust economic development.

This year’s annual meeting will feature more than 50 sessions, all live-streamed via the World Economic Forum website at cn.weforum.org, as well as the Forum’s official Weibo and WeChat accounts.
